This project is a partnership between East Portland Collective and Four Forces Inc. The East Portland Collective is especially devoted to increasing accessibility and providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community members.  Four Forces Inc provides equitable guidance for those we serve to be able to navigate and strengthen their personal and/or professional lives, while amplifying the mental wealth of their communities.

Lents Queer Makers Winter Pop-up: Cozy 2-evening winter market in the heart of Lents Town Center!

Lents Commons Retail Units. 9117 SE Foster Rd, Portland, OR 97266. Lents Commons is ADA accessible.  Transit-wise, the location is accessible via TRIMET on the bus (lines 10, 14, 17, 73) and MAX (Green), as well as accessible by car. Parking is neighborhood/street parking.

No fees apply – this market is FREE to participate in! 

A participation stipend of $100 total is available. Vendors qualify for $50 by vending at the market at least one day (either Dec. 16 or Dec. 17, or both) and for an additional $50 if they attend a free Business Class taught by Four Forces Inc. on either Dec. 27 or Dec. 28. (Please mark your availability below). 

This event will follow all Multnomah and State County Health Advisories. Additionally, we are requiring masks for the safety and well-being of our community. A notice requiring masks will be posted, and masks will be made available for those who don’t have one. A Safety Station, providing hand sanitizer, masks, and hand washing will be at all events. 

The event space is ADA accessible, including an accessible ramp with handrails and ADA-accessible restroom that can comfortably fit mobility devices such as wheelchairs. If we can do anything to increase your accessibility to this event, please let us know.  

Applications to vend at the Lents Queer Makers Winter Pop-up will be accepted on a rolling basis until December 9. Only completed applications will be accepted (answer ALL required questions and complete the required attachments).

LGBTQIA+ BIPOC and East Portland artists are highly encouraged to apply!

Artists will be selected based on information provided with the goal of curating a diverse art vendors group. Applications will be reviewed by organizers on a rolling basis!

Artists will be selected on a rolling basis and notified starting December 5th, 2023 via email. Artists/Vendors have three days to confirm their availability and agree to the waiver of liability and vendor contract (sent to review with notification).
