August 6th Nature Fair @ Leach Botanical Gardens

East Portland Collective volunteers are so excited to be bringing Leaf Prints to the Leach Botanical Garden‘s Nature Fair on August 6th from 10AM – 2PM!

What will you do with your print leaf creations?

Cards for loved ones?

Love note to yourself?

Art to frame and think of summer?

Enjoy a day of outdoor adventure and discovery at Leach Botanical Garden’s Nature Fair! This engaging event is geared toward families with children ages 2-8 and provides a perfect opportunity to delve into the wonders of plants and nature through hands-on activities and educational experiences.

The event features live music, arts and crafts, face painting, a special children’s yoga class, story times, book giveaways with The Bookmobile Babe, and art activities from East Portland Collective. Guests are invited to bring their own pack-it-in, pack-it-out picnic. We’ll remain open after the scheduled activities until 4pm for garden strolls and picnics.

Admission to Leach is $5 per adult and FREE for members and children 5 and under.

Need free entry to access the event? The Garden for All admissions program provides free entry to anyone who requests it. Individuals are not required to demonstrate enrollment in any program, simply to request access via Garden for All (the program is designed to support individuals or families for which admission fees present a barrier to entry, including those receiving assistance through programs such as Oregon Trail EBT, WIC, TANF, RCA, PWA or SNAP).  Garden for All tickets are available for walk up or by emailing Visitor Services or by calling 503-208-6030.
