Community therapeutic horticulture, Caregiver editionSpecial group session at Leach Botanical Garden for those who identify as a caregiver

You are invited to join East Portland Collective and Larkspur Portland in the beautiful setting at Leach Botanical Gardens for our Community Therapeutic Horticulture in the forest: Caregiver Edition!

Sunday, July 30, 2023

10am-12pm

Leach Botanical Gardens (you’ll receive the exact location in your email if you are admitted)

Our project is to create meditative and earthy twig weaving from natural fibers and foraged dried botanicals.

This project is for those who identify as caregivers to come connect, heal, and recharge in community, with the added benefits of therapeutic horticulture.

All materials and light snacks provided!

Space is limited to 15 people. We encourage everyone interested to apply. Our organization is especially devoted to increasing accessibility to BIPOC & LGBTQ+ folks. We want to try as much as possible to make this event 100% accessible to more people and to ensure everyone has what they need to complete the project. Please let us know if you need support beyond the materials and guidance!

To apply, please fill out this form by Sunday, July 23, 2023, and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Please be aware that if your registration is accepted, a spot will be held for you. In the event that you are unable to attend, let us know ASAP, so we can give your spot to someone else on the waiting list.

This class will be led by Kasia Terra (Larkspur Portland), a horticultural therapist living in East Portland.

Special thank you to Leach Botanical Gardens for making this setting possible for our community’s caregivers!
