Friday, September 29th from 4:00PM – 7:00PM is our second annual “Really Free Lents Night Market” as the opening event for Fall in Love with Lents!
What is a Really Free Night Market?
The Friday Really Free Night Market is inspired by the “Really, Really Free” Market (RRFM) movement, which is a temporary market that aims to counteract capitalism by sharing! Sharing includes resources, caring for one another, and improving the collective lives of everyone in our community through giving and receiving.
This event is free to attend and created by everyone who shows up (that’s you!). We intend to transform each other through collective spirit and sharing – showcasing abundance, recycling, reusing and creativity. Be generous and join in!
How do I participate in a RRFM?
Come and share! At this event, you bring what you can, take what you need or want, and enjoy the company and talent of your neighbors! Please bring items, skills, knowledge, information, food, games to share. No barter, no trade, no money – everything is free.
Please plan to take home anything you bring that does not get picked up by others – we’re sharers not litterers. (Our clean-up crew is volunteers so we appreciate your help!)
