Lents Pride Event PSA

Vendors, Please Read!

→ We are getting messages about the same question on IG, email, and under “special requests” on the form. It is significantly delaying us. Please only send ONE message, on ONE platform about your issue/question!

→ On that note, PLEASE RESPOND TO OUR MESSAGES! Check your email!

ACCEPTANCE FORM

→ Please FILL OUT THE ACCEPTANCE FORM if you have been accepted! This is how we know that a) you’ll be there and b) that you have read and understood the specifics of the event.

→ You MUST have written confirmation from us and be ready to show it that day to be able to vend

TABLES

→ You need a 5ft. (or smaller) table to vend at this event. If you have indicated on your application in advance that you need a table, we will provide one for you. At this point, we have NO extra tables left, so you must bring your own table if you haven’t already requested it. TABLES NEED TO BE 5FT. OR SMALLER, please, due to our space constraints!

SPAM/SCAMS

→ we will never ask for your personal information in a message on social media — any requests like that (from an account other than this one) are a scam – report and don’t respond!

COMMUNITY CARE & RESPECT

→ We are all volunteers! With the exception of performers, no one is getting paid to do this work. We are doing it as a service to our community. Please respect our time and us as people!

→ Our group is spending our own money to make this event happen, including by paying the vending fees for low-income artists/vendors, buying tables for those who can’t afford one, renting sound equipment, paying performers, paying the farmers market to have us there, paying for promotional materials, flyering Lents and Foster Powell, and donating the time of all our organizers who are not getting any money to do this work.

We are happy to do this work and we are thankful to our community for trusting us to organize and host this event, *and* we also ask you to please be kind to us during this process because several of us are also marginalized and low-income and we are spending our own money to make this happen.
