Thursday, February 12 | 6:00 – 8:30 PM – Storytelling with Matt the Traveling Typist
Join The Traveling Typist in a storytelling workshop aimed on reclaiming the power of unbridled creative flow in a world filled with distraction. Let your long held stories be told, or channel something new in a way you might not have yet tried through the analogue symphony of type. Typewriters will be provided, no experience necessary, or feel free to bring your own!
Matt is such a pleasure to work with, and we’re really excited to have this workshop in addition to all the events they’ve participated in with us – writing poems at Fall in Love with Lents, Glenwood Summer Concert, and other EPC Markets! Workshops will be held at the Woody Guthrie Community Room at 5800 SE 91st Avenue (Enter through courtyard). Pre-registration is recommended (and helps us plan!), but not required.
Materials and light refreshments will be provided.
Location is ADA accessible. Street Parking or arrive by bus (line 14) or Max (Green Line Lents Town Center). Masks are not required, but provided!
